Taken on Chestnut Street. The same place as Left - [link] and Downtown In A Dream - [link] It was such a beautiful night. I got some great shots that I'll post later. When I woke up the next morning, all the snow was gone. Oh well, there might be some more snow later.

Very interesting colours! It looks like a very well done photo. The snow looks so smooth, too.

And it's snowing right now so i might go out and try to capture more of the city when it's under the white stuff.

Mmmm...nice contrast between figure and ground. I love the detail of the tree compared to the more washed out blue background (how'd you get that blue anyway...is that Photoshop or actual exposure?) I don't care much for that street lamp there, is there another tree to the left or something so you can get the building in the background without that obnoxious lamp? Compositions is also nice, with the tree more to the left. Maybe the building can be more to the right (or tree more to the left). A lot of the "action" in the building is partially covered by the tree.

Oh...and the light from the moon(?) is awesome...like it's shining upon the tree. Nice cap!

The colors were brought out in photoshop by slightly boosting the brightness and contrast. The key to the blue was the white balance of the shot. It is kind of hard to keep out the street lights ina city. but I tried to keep the movement going with the parallel lines. The light that is shining ona tree is another street light out of frame.
